I became a real estate agent because I understood the importance of homeownership and as one of the few homeowners in my family, I realized that what stands in the way of many, like it did in my family (most of whom were cowboys living in ranch housing) was that it felt inaccessible, like it would never happen for them. Having a heart of service, I could think of no better way to serve people than to help them obtain homes of their own.
I'm passionate about the earliest "American Dream," that of homeownership, the wealth that it is capable of building and that it is more attainable than many realize. That is why I have focused much of my effort in helping renters and first-time sellers realize that the American Dream is not dead, and they too, can achieve it. Just as I did with one of my self-employed clients who was turned down by his past agent and told by some lenders he was at least 2 years out. I found him the right lender & program and he closed on his home within months of finding me.
